SEMI-FINAL GAME DOES NOT DISAPPOINT

The Plugs and Turf Monsters squared off in semi-final action this evening under a black and misty evening sky this evening at UVIC.

The Plugs led at the end of the 1st quarter 5-2 but by halftime, the Monsters had the Plugs number and took the lead 7-6. The 3rd quarter went back and forth with the Plugs then retaking the lead 12-10. The Monsters didn't give way, fighting back and tying the game early in the 4th but then possessions went the Plugs way and eventually so did the scoreboard with the Plugs winning the semi-final game 17-13.

The Plugs now face the Phantom tomorrow night at 6pm at UVIC's field #3. Admission is "free". Come out and see the Victoria Field Lacrosse League's Championship game as the VFLL will crown a "new" Champion in 2026.
