REGISTER TO PLAY IN THE VFLL
The Victoria Field Lacrosse League will begin play on Saturday October 5th at UVIC's field #3 with games beginning at 4:30pm, 6:00pm and 7:30pm throughout the season. The VFLL may have occasional weekends off due to league requests, Christmas break, Super Bowl and Youth Field Provincials, etc. and will conclude in April. The BCLA Senior Men's Field Provincials will take place Easter Weekend in April 2025 (TBD).
The league is holding weekend drop in sessions on Saturday September 21st & 28th at UVIC field #3 at 4:30pm & 6:00pm for all new players and existing players to show their skills, shake off the rust and get to meet some new and old faces prior to the upcoming season. All players are asked to bring a white and dark jersey to wear in these warm up games.
September 30th, 2024 is the deadline to return to the team in which you played for in 2024; it is also the deadline to be registered to the league to be eligible for the VFLL draft, which takes place on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 at 7:00pm via Zoom (link). If you are a returning player or a new player and you register to play after the deadline date, you will be placed on a team that requires your services by the league.
If you are a returning player from 2024, please inform your team captains that you are wishing to return to play for the 2025 VFLL season and register quickly to guarantee your roster spot.
The 2025 VFLL could see expansion! Whether you are young (19) or old (65+), this has been a competitive league, but fun to play in, no matter your skill level.
