PLUGS HOLD OFF PHANTOM FOR VFLL CHAMPIONSHIP

The Plugs are your 2026 Victoria Field Lacrosse League Champions after holding off a late surge from the Phantom in the Championship finale.

The game was back and forth with the Plugs holding a 3-2 first quarter lead, but in the 2nd, the Plugs capitalized on loose balls and made the best of ball possessions to take an 8-4 lead at halftime.

The Phantom turned the tides in the third quarter climbing back to only be down 10-8 going into the final 15 minute quarter and when the Phantom got within 1 goal, Plug veterans Ryan Lewis and James Spence buried goals 3 minutes apart to seal the deal.
